About EviState

Building digital accountability infrastructure

EviState creates persistent, inspectable evidence around important digital communications, publications and objects

Our purpose

Make consequential digital activity more accountable and inspectable

Digital information is easy to send, publish, copy and change, while the evidence showing who stood behind it and what state existed is often fragmented or missing. EviState adds that accountability layer and works with existing identity, security, content and governance systems.

EviState Core provides the architecture. ES Mail applies it to important communications, ES Record to published digital information, and ES Stamp to files and objects. One architecture. Three entry points.

How we operate

Trust claims require discipline

01Bounded claims

Every claim should state what has been evidenced, the scope of that evidence and what remains outside it. Verification must never be allowed to imply truth, safety, endorsement or certainty that the evidence cannot support.

02Evidence inspection

Evidence is more useful when it can be inspected at the point of reliance. We provide a genuine route to the current record so an appropriate reader can check status, provenance and material change rather than relying on a static badge or screenshot.

03Lifecycle visibility

Trust evidence should not appear permanent when its underlying state has changed. Corrections, expiry, suspension, supersession and material alterations should remain visible so the record reflects both the current position and how it was reached.

04Data minimisation

An evidentiary system should not collect more information simply because it can. We use only the evidence and personal data required for the defined purpose, with clear boundaries around access, retention and reuse.

05Independent scrutiny

Credible infrastructure must be open to serious challenge. We invite technical, policy, legal and domain specialists to test the assumptions, boundaries and failure modes—and treat substantiated criticism as an input to improvement.

06Security by design

Security is part of the evidentiary model, not an afterthought. We apply least-privilege access, auditable controls, separation between public and restricted materials and fail-closed boundaries where identity, authority or state cannot be established.

People

Accountable relationships start with accountable people

EviState combines architectural discipline with practical partner engagement, keeping responsibility and a route back to the people behind the work visible.

Current stage

Controlled implementation — transparent maturity

ArchitecturePre-1.0 review

EviState Core is being developed and challenged as a reference architecture. It is not presented as a final standard.

ProductsTransparent maturity

ES Mail is being prepared for controlled commercial deployment, ES Record is demo-backed, and ES Stamp remains in controlled development.

EngagementStructured collaboration

Government, technical reviewers, partners and early adopters can engage through controlled briefings.
